I hunger and thirst for righteousness, my Lord
If I could I know I would
I'd pick those days
and go back in time
We would see in Galilee
How the water turned to wine, into wine
On this ground we'd
hear the sound
of the healed hearts as they shout for joy
We'd see the light, we'd see it shining bright
It
started long ago, when just a baby boy, just a boy
I hunger and thirst for righteousness, my Lord
Then
came the day to be betrayed
As he stood accused and about to die
A crown of thorns, in rags adorned
They shamed
him so, as the faithfull cried, faithful cried
They took his life, and he paid the price
He made us clean, so we can walk with him
And with His grace, he pleads our case
So in the end, we all can win
I hunger and thirst for righteousness, my Lord
